If you’ve been following my earlier blog posts, you’ll have seen Allison & Dustin’s maternity session! So you’ll know that I was thrilled to be able to meet little Miss Isabella!!! She was a sleepy girl when I met her, so we kept the session short and sweet. We were still able to capture some sweet moments with her parents, and oh those little teeny tiny fingers and toes! I love how she rested so happily on her momma’s chest, her little hand fitting just under her chin. She is a loved girl, and I can’t wait to see her grow!

If you saw Michelle & Lucas’ maternity photography session, you’ll recognize this gorgeous family, with their new little son Xavier! I was so excited to meet him, and capture them all together as a family outside the womb! I loved how during their maternity session, I could imagine Michelle & Lucas as parents. They have so much love for each other, and they laugh so easily together. You can tell that not only will Xavier be treasured, but be surrounded by fun and giggles too! I can’t wait to see him at our next session!

You may remember my sweet family photography session with Charlie & his Mom & Dad this summer!  Well, Charlie is now a big brother!!!  It was SO fun to come and meet his beautiful baby sister Lily, and congratulate mom & dad!   Our session was also visited by Charlie’s grandma, and a crazy San Francisco heat wave!   And even though we were all  melting, we were able to capture some lovely images.

Our good friends Adam & Oana are expecting their first baby! They are due any day now, and we can’t wait to meet him!!! I stopped by their place last Friday to grab a few photos of Oana’s beautiful baby belly! And gave Adam a few quick pointers with his brand-new DSLR. So fun!

I am so lucky to be able to see families I work with – grow!  Hilary invited me to photograph Taylor when he was born, and I’ve had the pleasure of photographing him (and his amazing curls – see below!) two other times over the past few years.  I look forward to seeing Graham grow too!

I love, love, love to photograph newborns in the first month of life – even as early as week one!  This time goes by soooooo quickly, when they are this eensey beansey.  There is so much adjustment happening for everyone, that it is hard to remember to capture images of this most tiny stage.  I met Jesenia at one of the local mom & baby fairs, and she remembered to call me shortly after she & Sebastian arrived home.  I was so thrilled to help her capture this amazing time, and the tender love this mama has for her beautiful little boy!  So sweet. 

Thank you Jesenia, for letting me capture this amazing time.  I’m looking forward to seeing Sebastian grow!!
