Music ruled at Kate & Seth’s amazing wedding at the Scottish Rite Center! And what better way to celebrate the joining of two hearts then gorgeous melody & harmony?
Seth actually sang Kate down the aisle with the Beatles, “I will.” And then Kate sang to Seth. Wow. Could there be a more romantic or perfect gesture? At this wedding, actually yes. Not only did their friends also contribute their voices in song throughout the ceremony, but Seth’s father and his band California Zephyr also played! The perfect topper was then that at the reception, when Kate & Seth sang a duet in place of their first dance. And these two have AMAZING voices – soaring and emotive, and together just beautiful. So very sweet.

I love this shot below that my 2nd shooter that day, JP Dobrin captured as Kate was entering with her father.
The moment below was after the ceremony, when the marriage license was being signed. Apparently, the pamphlet Seth is holding “Your Future Together,” is given to every couple seeking to marry, by the state of California. It has all this wacky advice/depressing warnings. I actually thought Seth was joking when he began to read aloud from it!
I love this shot that JP captured! Awesome use of strategically directed off-camera flash!!!
And finally, this was the evening we had a double rainbow right at dusk!!! This was shot right outside the front door of the Scottish Rites Center. What a beautiful symbol to greet you on your wedding day!
