Since we’re all about magical light today, can I just share a few quick favorites from Kim & Ryan’s gorgeous wedding at Solage Resort?
You really can’t ask for a prettier moment! I got a full on case of the goosebumps when we took this sunset walk with Kim & Ryan: the light was just that fantastic. And these two were so sweet & fun – I can’t wait to share more of their images!

Sometimes, light is truly magical. (Well okay, pretty much all the time!) Then you add a little love into the mix, and it’s just about the perfect recipe for my favorite kind of image. Why not then add a little of nature’s version of twinkle lights into the olive trees? Don’t mind if I do!!!

Elopements are in their own world of awesome! Sure, as a wedding photographer I love big beautiful weddings, at incredible locations, with amazing details, but when it all comes down to it, what truly inspires me is the love that brings two people to join their lives together. And when it comes to an elopement, the focus is simply, beautifully, all about that love. Having their elopement at V. Sattui in Napa meant that Tiffaney & Christopher still had a gorgeous location and lovely details, so you may just say they got the best of all worlds! AND they are planning a big ole party this next month to celebrate with family & friends!
I loved many things about the way that Tiffaney & Christopher set up their day, but one of the most touching was a box they had created to hold the letter they each wrote to the other. The box is meant to be opened at their 5 year anniversary, where they will read their letters to one another, and then put inside a new letter each. Even just typing the description makes me weepy & get goosebumps! I’ve decided that Jared and I can start this one on our next anniversary… which will be our 12th!!! But a good idea is a good idea, no matter when you start it right?!

Meghan & Brian’s wedding is in less than two weeks, and I can’t wait to capture their celebration at Stanford Memorial Church & Palo Alto Golf and Country Club! I loved the chemistry between these two, their beautiful smiles, and positive energy! You can’t tell that it was a freezing summer day in San Francisco because of the awesome smiles these two wore the whole session.
