There are so many things that jumped out at me while I was editing Katie & Lee’s images. But the first image below, probably sums it up for me. Such joy and love on their wedding day – who could resist a smile looking at that image?

Other parts that I loved about Katie & Lee’s wedding?

The jaw-droppingly gorgeous locations – it felt like a gift to be attending a wedding at the San Francisco Ferry Building – an amazing piece of beauty & history! Katie’s customized wedding dress hanger! The beautiful blues & greens carried throughout the wedding. The amazing graphic design that iconized the San Francisco elements on all of their printed materials from the save the date & to table names & escort cards at the reception. The elegant effect of all white bouquets the bridesmaids carried. The gorgeous bouquet Katie carried of all the combined white blooms. I loved that the guests were all transported from hotel, to the church to the reception in a classic cable cars. The fierce love their family and friends clearly felt for these two – I loved Katie’s sister’s speech & the best man’s speech about Lee’s fighting skills as a teenager – seriously funny! Tainted Love – these folks seriously rocked it!

It was a wedding that even in it’s incredible beauty, invited you to share the moment. We went a little crazy taking pictures I have to admit – so many beautiful moments to capture! Here are just a few favorites from the day or view their slideshow for more!

Heather got ready at the Fairmont Hotel, with incredible views of the city from her suite. The ceremony was held where her grandparents were married, in Old Saint Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco.

After the ceremony, the wedding party took a trolley car through San Francisco to some of the most scenic sites and architecture in the city. I’ve included some favorites below. More are in the slideshow!

Finally, the reception was held at the United Irish Cultural Center, where John’s family is actively involved.

The beautiful details were expertly arranged by Cindy Danbom and her team at Belle Notte Events, and the cultural ties encorporated into the floral design by Nancy Liu Chin Designs, which transformed the amazing reception space. What a beautiful and fun night!

I loved the lighting design, and found some great moments backlighting the fun on the dancefloor. Here are a few faves:

Heather & John’s guests had a great time too – and we have the pictures to prove it! Here, the heroine was the beautiful Cindy Danbom, wearing the many hats that an expert planner must… carefully stiching the chin of one guest who’s Irish wedding jig got a bit too dangerous! It’s all fun & games until….

Really though, a good time was definitely had by all!
