How sweet are these two?!!

When I begin planning for a session with a toddler, I know I’ll need to be on my toes just to keep up with their explorations! So for my session with the H Family and their gorgeous twins, I was mentally prepared to get blissfully exhausted! In truth, it wasn’t work at all. I had so much fun getting to know this beautiful family. I loved how they all played together: so much love!!! And Andrew & Sarah just melted my heart!

I am so happy that I met this family right after we moved to Napa! Not only is Dave our family’s chiropractor, but I love photographing their sweet family! Max is such an awesome little guy. I love the twinkle he always has in his eyes! He’s full of love and laughter, and you can tell he has a sweet & beautiful connection with his Mom & Dad. It’s really a pleasure to capture. For their session, we headed to a local favorite Napa winery and captured some lovely images in the garden. Here are a few favorites or view their slideshow here.

For this session, I met Lily Rose, her parents, grandparents, nanny and dog at the beautiful Gamble Gardens in Palo Alto. This little girl is so happy & surrounded by so many people who love her! We had so much fun during the session, capturing Lily Rose in all of her beautiful outfits, checking out the flowers and playing with her sweet pup Milo. I love that the last 3 sessions I posted were all returning clients with new additions to their families! It’s so much fun to watch these beautiful kiddos and their families grow. And such a privilege to be a part of capturing their memories.

I photographed Kalindi 2 years ago, when she was just about the same age as her little brother Lukas is now. She’s grown so much, but still has that beautiful smile and sparkling eyes. Little Lukas was such a cutie too! We met at a nearby vineyard in Napa to capture this session, and it was so much fun to see them all play, laugh and snuggle together. Clay became a big brother this past month! I actually blogged Clay’s newborn session just two summers ago! I feel so fortunate to capture these moments for families, while also being reminded myself of how quickly time passes. I swear I was just at their sweet home cooing at Clay! And now he’s the big brother to Colden! Clay still has those incredibly cute dimples, and his little brother is such a love. Colden was super mellow and easy, although not at all sleepy! We captured lots of fun expression on both boys, and I can’t wait to see them again to watch them change & grow.

If you saw Michelle & Lucas’ maternity photography session, you’ll recognize this gorgeous family, with their new little son Xavier! I was so excited to meet him, and capture them all together as a family outside the womb! I loved how during their maternity session, I could imagine Michelle & Lucas as parents. They have so much love for each other, and they laugh so easily together. You can tell that not only will Xavier be treasured, but be surrounded by fun and giggles too! I can’t wait to see him at our next session!

I was so excited when Michelle & Lucas decided to book a 3-session package for this year, to capture maternity, newborn and infant images of their upcoming arrival, or as they like to refer to as their “Little Awesome.” So sweet! We had such a fun time at their maternity session, mixing up a little classic black & white with some fun lifestyle images around their home.

Max turned one this week! A few weeks ago, we captured his 1 year photo session here in Napa & it was so much fun!!! Max is so full of personality! And I love, love, love the fun that he has with Mom & Dad. This shot below is one of those beautiful family moments that I hope to capture in every session. My hope is that my clients will look at it again, 10, 20 years down the line. And when they look at it, I hope it transports them back to this wonderful time together. And even though Max may not have a memory of this moment years later, I love to imagine that he’ll see in these images how loved & cherished he is.
