Caitlin + Ian | Swedenborgian Church & Absinthe | San Francisco Wedding Photograher

One of the wonderful things about photographing weddings, is that they are all different.  Sounds a bit cliche, but it’s just true.  Yes, there are some parts that you are likely to see each wedding: ring exchange, pronouncement, first kiss, etc.  But actually, even those sections can be replaced by other rituals, some new, some created, by the couple that will be bound by them.  And I guess that is the crux.  In the end, each wedding reflects so much of the couple that it brings together.

Caitlin & Ian’s wedding was no exception; a beautiful day and lovely wedding, pared down to the most essential parts.  Clear and true, and full of the people closest to them, in the city in which they met and fell in love.  We started with their first look at their San Francisco apartment, then headed out to portraits in the gorgeous San Francisco Presidio, followed by their lovely ceremony  at Swedenborgian Church, and an intimate dinner for about 30 at Absinthe in Hayes Valley.  I loved every minute of photographing their wonderful wedding day!

Here are just a few favorites, or view their slideshow here.
